Itinerary Day by Day

Day1 Arrive in Shanghai

Welcome to Shanghai, the most metropolis of China!

Upon arrival at Shanghai airport, you'll be met and taken to have an 8-minute high-tech Maglev Train. it is the world's fastest train running 430km/hr. Your driver will be ready to pick you up at the Longyang Road station, and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of today is at your leisure.

Day2 Shanghai Sightseeing (B,L)

After breakfast, local tour guide will takes you to Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which is considered a must-see for all true Shanghainophiles to witness how Shanghai became a cosmopolitan city from a shabby fishing village.

Then, you will visit the Yu Garden, a beautiful and well-contained typical Chinese garden, and savor some local flavor snacks at the Yu Garden Bazaar. Later to visit the French Concession to appreciate its old French-style villas and special colonial culture.

In the evening, enjoy the breathtaking Acrobatic Show for your option.

Day3 Shanghai Tour & Fly to Guilin (B,L)

In the morning, you will visit the famous Bund to witness Shanghai's skyline, and stroll along China's No.1 shopping street, Nanjing Road.

Then ascend the Jinmao Tower to get an amazing bird's eye view of this metropolis. Then continue to Jade Buddha Temple to admire the largest jade Buddha in the world and exquisite religious artifacts.

Being free until transferred to the airport and take a flight to Guilin, Guilin is considered the most beautiful city of China by its unparalleled landscape. when you arrive in Guilin, your Guilin tour guide will pick you up and transferred to your hotel.

The rest of today is free to explore the scenic city at your own, you may walk around the lakes and experience how local people spend their leisure time.

Day4 Guilin Sightseeing (B,L)

Today's tour is Li River Cruise and Yangsuo.

After breakfast, you'll be driven to Zhujiang Pier to cruise the Li River, a 65km-long natural gallery. I heard of the name of Li River long ago. Today I visit Li River. It is more vivid and genuine than what I thought before. Nowhere is like Guilin. It makes me think of the traditional Chinese paintings.' said by Bill Clinton. River river cruise tour is also considered as the best tour program in China.

After 4 hours cruise sightseeing, disembark at Yangshuo, the paradise of Guilin. Check in your hotel, the rest of today is free to explore Yangshuo and find interesting things in West Street.

Day5 Guilin Tour & Flight to Chengdu (B,L)

Today's tour we focus on Guilin, a city located in a fabulous picture consists of hills and rivers. It takes about 1.5 hours from Yangsuo to Guilin, the first stop surely is the Elephant Trunk Hill, the city symbol. Then head to visit the fabulous Reed Flute Cave to see the beautiful stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, and stone flowers with various shapes.

After Guilin tour, we continue our trip to the next city by flight, Chengdu, the home of the giant panda. Upon arrival, be transferred to your hotel by the local guide.

Day6 Chengdu Sightseeing (B,L)

On this day, in the morning, you will visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, morning is the best time to observe the active Panda eating Bamboo. After visit Panda, we will drive to Leshan to see Leshan Giant Buddha - the biggest seating Buddha in the world, which is 200 km from Chengdu. Giant Buddha is the world cultural heritage sites. These two problem are considered the must-see in Chengdu and all are China's treasures.

Day7 Flight to Lhasa from Chengdu (B,L)

Taking a flight to Lhasa from Chengdu.

Day8 Lhasa Sightseeing: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor street (B,L)

Morning section to visit the famous Potala Palace and explore the grandest of this myriad chapels, you will experience its audience halls, the jeweled and Golden burial chortens(stupa Tombs) of past Dalai Lamas, and tremendous number of Buddhist frescoes, thangkas, combinations of mandala etc.

Afternoon section visiting to the holist temple in Tibet, the Johkang Temple, built during songtsen gonpo's reign by princess wencheng of tang dynasty, 647 A.D, and its famous Barkor Kora, where you can buy or appreciate traditional Tibetan artifacts, religious implements, antiques, books, Tibetan music instrument, Thangkas, and tradition tibetan clothes etc. you will have chance to get close to appreciate how the artists draw Thangkas at the Thakangka workroom at Barkor.

Day9 Lhasa Sightseeing: Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery (B,L)

Today, you will visit two important monasteries in Lhasa, the Drepung and the Sera. Drepung monastery is situated at the foothill of a mountain and was founded by Jamyang Choeje in 1416. It was once home of 10000 monks and Ganden podrang in Drepung is famous it was the government centre during fifth dalai lama and later moved to the famous potala palace during fifth dalai lama.

Then you will visit the Carpet Factory, you can see how the world-famous Tibetan carpets are made.

After having lunch, continue to visit the Sera Monastery, which was founded in 1419 by Tsongkapa's disciple Jamchen Choeje. The most attractive is that Monks debiting is held there in the courtyard at around 3-5 in the afternoon section most of the time.

Day10 Lhasa to Xian by Train (B)

You will leave Lhasa to Xian by NEW TIBET TRAIN, which is considered as the new world wonders. You will witness the most beautiful scenery of Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the land of snows, the desert, the grassland, the ice mountains, the lakes will continually appears and strongly attracts your heart.

Day11 Arrival in Xian

Lhasa to Xian train journey will take about 33 hours, you will arrive in Xian in late evening on today.

Day12 Xian Sightseeing (B,L)

Today we will visit the the incredible Terracotta Warriors, the forbidding sentinels of a death defying emperor, starting out through the silent millennia of history.

In the afternoon, visit the Ancient City Walls, the largest and best-kept city walls on earth. Strolling and cycling on the Walls is quite an enjoyable experience.

Today’s tour ends to visit the Bell Tower, a famous landmark of Xian ancient city.

Day13 Xian tour, train to Beijing (B,L)

Today after breakfast, you’ll visit the Great Mosque, a tranquil and historic mosque that has served Xian’s Muslim community for more than a millennium. By the way, you’ll stop by the Muslim Community. Then head to the age-old Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the symbol of the old-line Xian, a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists.

After lunch, be transferred to the new railway station to Beijing by China High Speed Train, you will witness the development of China's high-speed rail in recent year. train journey is only 4-5 hours.

Upon arrival in Beijing, your Beijing guide will meet you at the train station then a private car will transfer to you hotel.

Day14 Beijing Sightseeing (B,L)

Today you will visit the majestic Great Wall (Badaling section) and the Chang Tomb of Ming Tombs. You will be taken on a group tour to the Great Wall, the most famous symbol of China and one of the world’s most remarkable architectural wonders. This section was first built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD).

Then you will visit to the Ming Tomb the burial site of the emperor Wanli, the 13th emperor of the Ming Dynasty who ruled for 48 years until his death in 1620. Feel tired after a whole day tour? You're offered with a free foot massage.

Day15 Beijing Sightseeing (B,L)

Today you will first visit the historic Tiananmen Square which is the largest city square in the world and the spiritual heart of China, and then the magnificent Forbidden City which located in the center of Beijing and used to be the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.

In the afternoon, you will visit the fine Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven. Summer Palace was an imperial summer resort of the Qing Dynasty. it is the most splendid classical garden in China. The Temple of Heaven is a royal sacred site where prayers for good harvests, prosperity and harmonious life are offered.

Day16 Depart from Beijing (B)

You will be transferred to Beijing airport for your flight to next destination.
