Nowadays, it is easy to get to Lhasa by air, by train or by land. There are daily flights to Lhasa from Chengdu, Xining, Beijing, Shanghai and some other major cities in mainland China. So the most convenient way is to get to mainland China, or Nepal from your country first, and then get into the mysterious land.

Now, there are seven railway routes to Lhasa from Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Xining, Chongqing, Guangzhou and Lanzhou. All trains to Tibet are equipped with soft sleepers, hard sleepers, dining cars, washrooms and oxygen supply systems.
