Possibly the holiest mountain in the world, the 6,600-meter high and four-sided Mount Kailash has attracted pilgrims to pay homage and trek around it every year. During this tour, you will first spend 3 days in Beijing to visit the famous Great Wall and Forbidden City, Imperial Ancestral Temple and Beihai Park, and Nanluoguxiang. Then, take a flight to Lhasa and visit Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, Drepung and Sera Monastery there before setting off for Mount Kailash.
On the way to Mt. Kailash, you will visit Yamdrok Lake and Karola Glacier, Kumbum Stupa and Tashilunpo Monastery, and stay overnight at Everest Base Camp before heading for Darchen, the starting point of Kailash trekking. After the 3-day Kailash trekking, you will be escorted to Kathmandu via the lush green Gyirong Valley, and visit Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, and Bouddhanath, as well as Durbar Square in Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur.
