Yes, there are electrical outlets on every train to Tibet. In hard sleeper cars, the electric outlets are placed on the wall below the window chairs in the corridors. In soft sleeper cars, there are electric outlets under the tiny table in every single compartment.

What Kinds of Electrical Adapter Can I Use?
There are two common plug types in China. One is the flat blade attachment plug, and the other is oblique flat blades with ground. Voltage in China is generally 220V, 50HZ. If you’re traveling with certain devices, such as older hair dryers and irons, you may also need a voltage converter or transformer, which can change the voltage of electricity to match the voltage of your device.
